Hong Luu, O.D. was raised in the Bay Area and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Davis. Dr. Luu is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree and Bachelor of Science in Vision Science. Dr. Luu's ties to California drew him to return to and practice in his home state.
Dr. Luu provides a wide range of general and optometric eye care from the treatment and management of ocular diseases to the measurement of glasses and the fitting of contact lenses. Dr. Luu sees patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. He enjoys getting to know his patients through the encouragement of questions. Dr. Luu feels that the doctor-patient dialogue is an important aspect of every exam. Most importantly, he believes that patient knowledge and education is critical to a patient's understanding of their health.
Dr. Luu is fluent in Teo Chow. When not seeing patients, Dr. Luu enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and exercising.
